On each page, there is a high quality scan of the original manuscript page,<ref>Original scans were provided by Tresoar in Leeuwarden. Introduction

This page lists the wiki links to all of the pages of the Oera Linda manuscript. On each page, there is a high quality scan of the original manuscript page,[1] on which a page identifier and line numbers have been added. Alongside it is an edited transcription. Below the transcription the edits are listed. Links to translations of the page are provided, as well as links for navigation back and forth.

Page and line numbers

New page numbers are identified by three digits, line numbers by up to two digits. For example, page 6 is identified as [006], line 5 as [5], line 10 as [10]. To refer to a line on a specific page, one can either write [006/05] or 6.05.

Line numbers from the manuscript are written in their corresponding places in the transcription; for example, if line 10 on the manuscript begins with FÀSTA DÉDE ALSA HJA BODEN WÀRTH, the identifier [10] is placed in the transcription at the beginning of that sentence.

Sometimes, the transcription is split into sections. On page 6 for example, a new chapter starts at line 12: (6.12) THAT IS VSA FORMA SKÉDNESE.

Corrections

The edits of the transcription are divided into copyist corrections and transcriber corrections. If a letter is written sloppily or a word is missing some letters, the editors have reconstructed the missing parts under copyist corrections. If a word is written inconsistently or an obvious typo or grammatical mistake is made, the editors have corrected these inconsistencies and mistakes under transcriber corrections. Adding and removal of dots or spaces are listed separately. This is an ongoing effort.

The bottom of each page contains links to translations of the page. For example, on page 6:

The first column shows the line where the chapter begins.

Font picker

At the top of each wiki manuscript page is a font picker, which provides choice between Standskrift, Wagumskrift and Latin. The Standskrift font imitates the letter style from the Oera Linda manuscript, the Wagumskrift font is a reconstruction of what some or all inscriptions might have looked like and Latin is the default wiki font. More on the Fonts page.
