Aken is a burg. It is mentioned among those burgs kept by Abelo during his reeveship over the Southern Fleelands, along with Luidburg and Katsburg. Adel and Ifkia also traveled here, four of their servants being killed by reaving Franks.

  • It was called Westland before the great flood.
  • Fugitives were given sanctuary by the maidens, and sent to the mines.
  • Kelta tried to create her own realm here, before the Gools took over and
  • the whole land became a war-zone between Gools and Kelts.

Buda was a burg. It was included alongside Mannagardaforda within the reeveship of the High Fens and Woods.

The creil woods, or thicket woods, were a forested area near Medeasblik. It is within their quagmires that many of the retreating Finns died, after the failed raid on Medeasblik.

Crete is an island in which Minno landed and established a harbour. The people called for the laws of the Fryas, which upset the order that had been established on the island.

The Den-marks are lands.

  • They are east of the Steersmen, Angelara and Seakampers.
  • East of the Denmarks are the Jutters.
  • After the second flood, many Jutters settled in the Denmarks, after having been adrift.
  • Among the leaders of the Danes, was the king of Hals, who's daughter married Black Adel.

Dokhem was a palace where Luidgeart lived, thus many messengers and horsemen traveled to pay their respects here.

The Eamouth is a where the Ea drains into the sea in East Fleeland.

  • Wodin lived there before being elected military-leader.
  • This is where Wichhirte resettled with his people.

Egypt is a kingdom with many lands.

  • Seakrops was later a high-priest of Egypt, before he helped take Athenia.
  • Ptolemy was a reigning prince of Egypt, and he went to war with Antigonus

The Egyptians are a branch of Finda's folk, with a temples, priests and idols.

  • They have been ruled over by kings, high priests, as well as princes.
  • Tunis had been hired to give the Egyptians a fleet to work with.

The Euphrates was a river.

  • The Geartmen were offered land here, after they left Punjab.
  • From here the Geartmen went to the Middle-Sea-straight, on their quest to take their fleet over from the Red Sea.

The Flee was a river.

  • It lead to the Alderga Lake, then into the Rhine.
  • A fleet on their way to the Flee picked up Minno from Crete.
  • Three trading ships also landed here before being forwarded to Friso.
  • Here there was an outbrake of the Slaver-sickness in Black Adel's years.

The Flee Lake was in the West-Fleeland Reeveship.

  • Tunis built the Almanland warehouse here
  • From this lake, Jon later sailed forth to the Kelta-conflict.
  • The Flee Lake was also where the Magus sailed after he killed Frana.
  • Frethorik reports rumours of there being thirty salt marshes along the shores after the second flood.

The Fleeburg was a burg.

  • was over the Scheldt from the seven islands.
  • It was here that Syrhed "Kelta" had her seat as burg maiden.
  • Jon burnt down the burg.

Fleeland was a region.

  • Frya gave her Tex to her children in Feeland.
  • Later Tunis built Almanland on the Flee Lake.
  • Apol had Luidgarda, Lindaheim and Stavia under his care. Thus they were most likely in Eastfleeland.
  • As Abelo had Aken, Luidburg and Katsburg under his care, these burgs seem to have been in the South Fleelands.
  • Likewise the Treasureburg, Medeasblik, and Forana would be in West Fleeland.

There are two Fryasburgs in the OLB:Old Fryasburg and New Fryasburg. The former was in Texel and housed the Tex. The latter was down the Rhine.

Fryasland is where most of the Fryas lived. Luidgart wrote down that it was quite flat.

The Ganges was a river in Findasland. Alexander tried to reach it with the help of the Geartmen, but that expedition broke down. According to Luidgeart, Ganges was a holy site for some of the Findas, them believing that Finda had floated down it with her children.

The Geartmen were those who followed Geart out of Athens, after the death of Minerva. They lived some while in Punjab, before the coming of Alexander. After the Tyrians who had come with them burnt down their village, a new village was built in the persian gulf. Some of them went back into the Middle Sea to Athens, before going to as Brokmen to Fryasland.

Godaburg was a maiden-burg in Skeanland. It was near this burg that the Finns were stopped in their Skeanland invasion. Katherine was one of the maiden's of this burg. Another unnamed maiden was made the mother of this burg by the Magus, after she had sabotaged the election of Tuntia.

Greanega was a place where the Fryas met together. It is said to have been on the border with the Saxmen.

The Greeklands are south of the Fryas. After the first flood many Lydas and Findas moved to them. There are two lands called Greekland:

  • Nearest Greekland, which was likely at least southern Italy.
  • Furthest Greekland, which is likely Greece and the regions around it.

Hals was a burg in Jutterland. The burg maiden Reintia went their as her first call for joining the alliance against the Gools. The daughter of the king of Hals was the one to introduce idol worship into Frisia.

The Highmarks are named as the lands of the Saxmen. They were along the border with Twiskland.

The Himilaya were a group of mountains in India, from where the Panj-ab and Ganges streamed.

Jon's islands, also known as the pirate islands, were a group of islands where Jon landed and from where he raided the Tyrians. Ulysus was later a king here.

Kaedik (KÁDIK: Gadir, Cádiz) was a Fryas colony near the entrance to the Middle Sea. Tutia was maiden here when Tunis came with his fleet, after which he was allowed to re-stock. The colony was later taken over by the Gools in their conquest of the outer-lands.

Kashmir is a plain in the mountains of central Findasland. It was here that Yesus was born.

Kate's Gate was a strait along the Denmarks. It was named after Kate from Godasburg, who jumped into it to avoid appearing before the council of Texland.

Katsburg is a burg in the Southern Fleelands. Friso sent his cousin, Hetto, as herald to this burg.

Kelta's burg, later known as Kearenek, was a stone burg built by Syrhed "Kelta". It was taken by the Gools, before Adel allied with the Skots to take it back.

The Keltic lands are where the followers of Kelta lived, and are likely those places taken over by the Gools. They are mentioned once, as being raided by the Sealanders.

Lindaheim was somewhere in the Linda Region.

Lindasburg, also called Lindasnose, was a burg in west Skeanland. It was built by Apol, son of Adela.

Luidgarda was a burg. It was either in the region of Linda or East Fleeland, as Apol was reeve over those, and had Luidgarda under his care. Apollania was a maiden at this burg, and it was damaged during the flood that happended 1888 years after the sinking of Atland. Frethorik was a lawspeaker here, and his son Koneread was elected after his death.

Phoenicia is the land where Tyre and Sidon where to be found. It's folk, the Phoenicians, were a blend of Fryas, Findas as well as Lydas.

Skeanland (SKÉNLAND) also known as Northland, was a land east of the Denmarks. The Eastern part was invaded by Finns, who were only stopped at Godaburg. Wodin lead an army to drive the Finns back, after which he became their king, much of his army settling the land alongside the former invaders. Godaburg and Lindaburg/Lindasnose were burgs in Skeanland.

Texland was where Fryasburg was situated.

Ott:

The Treasureburg (translation of 'Waraburg') was one of four burgs in West Fleeland in the time of Adela and her daughter Apollania. It was located at the southern head of the Aldergamouth. On its walls, some of the texts were inscribed that were copied in the Book of Adela Followers. It was also the storehouse of exotic and foreign objects brought from overseas, like shells, horns, weapons, and clothes. In the times of Frethorik, the burg was destroyed by water in what must have been a cataclysmic event.

Ott's preliminary theory is that the location must have been somewhere between Hoorn and Wijdenes (possibly outside the current dykes).

Troy was a burg that was burnt down by Ulysus. The folk who had lived there, the Troyans, ended up in Near Greeklands where they built Rome.

Twiskland was between Fryasland and those lands where the Findas dwelled.

Tyre was a burg in Phoenicia. Tunis built it after he and his fleet was banished from Skeanland.

The Upsalands were in Skeanland. Some Frya children were stolen and sent there, so that they would go back later and speak well of the Magus.

Walhallagara was a burg. Minerva was a Burgmaid here before it was burnt down by the Kelts. Foppo took care of the Burg when he was reeve of the Seven Islands, so it must have been rebuilt.

The Weser (WRSÁRA) was a river in Fryasland. The river is first mentioned when describing the events thirty years after the death of Frana, when the Magus became the overlord of the lands to it's east.
